Self Publishing Genealogy

self publishing genealogy
What category(s) should I list my book in?

I am in the process of self-publishing my book. The book covers 11 generations of my African American family. It’s 250 pages and about two chapters are devoted to each generation (from 1640 to today). It is written much like Alex Haley’s “Roots” in that it is in Narrative form. It’s not fiction, but I used documents, my genealogy, and oral history to put the story together. What category would you go to if you wanted to find a book like this. (History, genealogy, etc)

History , non-fiction .
