My video in Windows Movie Maker freezes while audio keeps going?
My video that I am making freezes, but the music continues to play. The video freezes at different spots…so where the video froze last…it might no freeze there the next time…but it will freeze somewhere else. Occasionally…part of the video will just become a black screen…and sometimes it wont. I tried publishing the video a couple times and it still freezes. HELP!!! This video has a deadline and I do not know what to do.
Your computer might not meet the minimum requirements to process video like that.
Check the format of the video you imported, is it mpg, flv, avi. Typically AVIs will use more CPU since they’re uncompressed, so try putting into MP4 before putting to the stage.
If the screen goes black, its probably a sign the CPU is working too hard and is dropping frames that it can’t process, you might try lowering the resolution of the video if it is too high.
