Should teenagers be allowed to read books and theories of communists?
I know someone trying to start a reading club where they read books of known communists. He thinks we are all slaves to society and one day the contradictions of capitalism will cause the world to transition to a new socio-economic systems on the collapse of the contradictions.
I think that they are too young and might be brainwashed by the anti american propaganda.

Why not? Communism is a harmless ideology that supports consensual democracy, and the equality of all human beings regardless of social stratus.
it’s the interpretations that lead to a bad name for Marxism, though. remember; many of the countries that implemented communism had no history of socialism, and many other communist governments that were democratically elected were overthrown in US led coups and replaced by dictators that were authoritarian as well…the entire cold war was a joke, but that doesn’t mean one should discount any ideology as impractical, or non-working.
